In an Internet retailer, you will find a wide range of job functions. Leaders frequently need to adjust their own expectations to meet the reality of the situation. There are times when you might want an outcome much sooner than those whose job it is to perform the work. For this assignment, you must research motivational theories, pick 2 theories, and address the following:
• Describe each theory, and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each theory. • How would you apply each theory to working with a highly creative and complex technology workforce, such as those designing Web sites? • Discuss a few motivational tools and techniques that would apply to all employees in any organization.
***Add sources***

This assignment has to be three parts, for now, I want you to do just the proposal. after I get the approved of the proposal from the professor I will placed another order to complete the second part of the assignment
Assignments 3 - 5 Introduction In order to understand public policies, one needs to first review the problem in society that led to the policy being developed. Assignments 3 and 4 are connected in that you will be analyzing the problem first in assignment 3 and then the related policy in assignment 4. You must turn in a proposal for the problem and policy. This proposal must be approved by me for you to begin the research. This assignment is worth 5 points if completed as requested here. Points will be deducted for any deviations to or omissions from this design.
The proposal must answer the following questions:
What is the public problem in society that you want to understand? What is the policy that was developed to deal with this problem? What are the questions you want to answer? What are the steps you will be taking to complete this work?
second part:
4. Bibliography Assignments
Then, after your topic has been approved, you will need to complete the bibliography assignment. Your bibliography must consist of a minimum of 10 sources. In this assignment you will list the sources/references you will be using to conduct your problem and policy analyses. The following must be included in your analysis of the bibliographic references:
1. All references must be listed in APA style format 2. Indicate if the source is considered scholarly or popular 3. Tell me how you evaluated the source’s credibility 4. Indicate who the audience of the information is 5. Discuss why you included this source and the purpose of the information provided
Third part:
5. Problem Development Exercise Problem development and resolution is a central part of understanding public policy making. Each student will present a public problem in society using the software Prezi (www.prezi.com). The presentation must also be posted in the Blackboard discussion forum to be graded.
These presentations will be reviewed anonymously by the audience and the reviews will be posted in the Blackboard forum. Participation points will be given to those in the audience.
Your problem presentation should be 10 minutes with five minutes for questions/discussion. It should include, at a minimum, the answers to the questions listed below.
• What is the problem in society that is being addressed by this policy? • This problem should be relevant to life in the Inland Empire or the southern California region we live in. • What are the costs of the problem or policy, (financial, societal, or both)? • What is the origin or source to this problem? • Is it a problem that can be solved? Without limits or under reasonable/likely conditions? • Should it be solved by government or is it better solved through the private or non-profit sectors? • Make sure you provide data and indicators to make your case.
A concise three paragraph memo discussing the tenants (thoughts) of the scientific, social/personal and modern eras of management; how these schools (theories) relate to each other and workers; and how you would employee them in dealing with problem employees at work today.
Develop a report in terms of the following guidelines. A well-written report should have a brief introduction, headings or subheadings, and a brief concluding comment. Note that you should use some keywords as headings or subheadings such as "Brand Equity of VW”, instead of a sentence or a question. Read and cite required articles on Volkswagen’s emissions scandal, as well as additional research you have done, and address the following issues:
Briefly describe Volkswagen’s emissions scandal and provide background on the company and automobile industry. Do you think Volkswagen’s brand reputation was severely damaged by the emissions scandal? How about its brand equity? Discuss what brand equity is, and how Volkswagen’s brand equity will be impacted. How should Volkswagen handle the emissions scandal in an ethical way? Discuss the related ethical issues from both consumer and brand manager perspectives. What can you learn from this case? What suggestions could you offer to Volkswagen’s top management?
Expectations Regarding Your References and Defense of Your Positions
Write clearly, simply, and logically. Your paper should be 750–1,500 words long, excluding title pages and references, but quality of writing is more important than length. Use double-spaced, black Verdana or Times Roman font in 12 pt. type size.
Back up your positions or opinions with references to the required readings for this Case and those in the Module Background. In using those references, demonstrate your understanding of the concepts presented. Rather than grading on how much information you find, emphasis will be on the defense of the positions you take on the issues. Also remember that:
The “why” is more important than the “what.” The defense of your positions on the issues is more important than the positions you take. Do not repeat or quote definitions. Your use of the required reading to support your opinions (that is, contentions or positions) should demonstrate that you understand the concepts presented. Do not include definitions or summaries of the readings or simply describe what the company did. Instead, your responses to the questions should be analytical and should demonstrate that (a) you understand the principles from the background reading and (b) you can apply them to this particular case. Vague, general answers will not earn a good grade.
Avoid redundancy and general statements such as “All organizations exist to make a profit.” Make every sentence count.
Paraphrase the facts using your own words and ideas, employing quotes sparingly. Quotes, if absolutely necessary, should rarely exceed five words.
When writing an academically oriented paper, you will uncover many facts about the company and the scandal. If you paraphrase the facts, cite the sources in your text and link those citations to references at the end of the paper.

Because business communication is at the heart of a business’s success, business writers must be able to determine what is effective, what is not, and why. Poorly constructed internal documents, in particular, can be problematic because they affect employees’ understanding of company business protocols.
Review the attached document called ABC Enterprises Introduction (Letter 1). Then, write a brief critical analysis in which you address the following questions:
1.What is the purpose of the document? Does the document effectively support its intended purpose? Explain your reasoning.. 2.Who is the audience for this document? Does the document effectively target its intended audience? Explain your reasoning.. 3.Is the format of the document appropriate for its intended purpose and audience? Explain your reasoning.. 4.Does the document contain factual, practical information written in a concise, clear manner? Explain and provide examples to support your reasoning.. 5.From an overall perspective, what makes this document effective or ineffective? Support your reasoning with evidence from your textbook or another appropriate source.. 6.If you were asked to rewrite this document, what changes would you recommend? Why?.
Submit your finished critical analysis of approximately two pages, double-spaced (about 700 words) and formatted according to APA requirements (title page, references page, etc.).
