Review of Literature: Students will write an 8-page, double-spaced paper describing the major themes which surface as a result of the review of literature related to the research design topic. They are expected to use a minimum of ten (10) academic articles and four (4) academic books about their research topic. The Review of Literature, in general, seeks to answer the following questions: 1) What has already been done in this area and what were the findings? and 2) How does this project fill any identified “gaps” in the previous work? Students are required to use Chicago style citation. Research Design: Research design is the roadmap for answering your research questions and achieving your research objectives. The roadmap will help students formulate how to access the available sources of data, how to identify the relevant data and how to use the data to answer their research questions. Students are expected to prepare a three (3) page research design using text, images and graphs. Project Proposal: Project proposal needs to be clearly defined, and must identify in which of the four program areas (culture, business, politics, history) the project originates. The topic must have prior approval by the instructor, and should be thoroughly discussed with the instructor through a series of scheduled appointments. The final proposal must be about twelve (12) pages and contain at least all of the following sections: Project Desсrіption, The Scope of the Project, Justification for Project, Review of Literature, Methodology, Expected Outcomes, Evaluation Plan, Timetable/Implementation Process.
