In the 21st century, technology has transformed the working places. The working environment that existed a decade ago is no longer present as technological advancement has completely taken over thus permitting employees and the organization, in general, to interact freely with the global market and even conduct work from a different location (Miller, 2012).  Technological advancement at the work place has brought convenience and developed skills maximum. Technology has resulted in increased productivity and efficiency in the work place.  Time and effort management has clearly been optimized by technology as tasks have been made lighter.  In addition, technology has brought collaboration since communication speed has grown gradually and individuals can connect at any moment and location.  Technology has additionally developed business security level and improved cost management.  This is mainly because corporations can now be able to secure information without being compromised. Despite the positive changes technology in the work place has additionally resulted in negative impacts due to decreased communication (Miller, 2012).

Technological advancement is rapidly growing in the recent years which are raising numerous issues. Technological changes are accompanied by several problems which range from security difficulties, privacy issues, individual’s lives impacts as well as business operation changes (Miller, 2012).  In addressing some of these issues innovation and more technology are thus required which widens the gap of the issues.  Technological changes how the business operates by transforming the manner in which the business operates as more security is required. This, therefore, means that individual’s daily living is changed in that they have to adapt (Miller, 2012).

Question 3

My work place has been changed by technology by developing globalization.  Aircraft communications require rapid responses which have greatly been developed by technology.  Technology in my workplace has helped in reducing delays, increasing communication efficiency and developing employee’s effectiveness through simplifying the tasks.  This has therefore improved the general ability of individuals in accomplishing the given tasks.
