Cloud Profitability

Cloud computing is a unique platform which allows an entity to access and store company data virtually. This platform is good in such a way that it is cost effective, hence impacting any business positively be it small or a big business (Zhao & Li, n.d.). It is therefore cost effective in the sense that it allows the storage of data without any limits. Secondly, the storage of data does not require regular monthly premiums, since the cloud provider is responsible for checking for any issues, hence saving the business monthly subscriptions (Antonopoulos & Gillam, 2010). Thirdly, it does not require frequent advice from IT technicians, since once a business transforms into cloud service, then the cloud provider is able to take control of each and everything, hence limiting the business from incurring any costs. Lastly, any employee can access the company’s data through cloud, anywhere they may be, guaranteed they can access the internet (Mavromoustakis, Mastorakis & Dobre, 2016). 

When it comes to the issue of data storage, a business chooses the package which they think will be enough for the storage of its data. Once this is ascertained, the data is then stored, without having any problems concerning storage capacity. This therefore saves the company a lot of money, particularly money which is required for storage backups (Mavromoustakis, Mastorakis & Dobre, 2016). The use of cloud does not require monthly licenses, hence the business runs smoothly, without the fear of being closed down due to the lack of a license (Zhao & Li, n.d.). Thirdly, the cloud provider is responsible for any faults, hence he or she takes care of all the problems associated with the system, hence the company does not require IT technicians advice when experiencing an issue, a factor which saves the company a lot of money, since it is very expensive to seek advice from IT technicians (Antonopoulos & Gillam, 2010). Finally, data can be accessed from anywhere through the use of cloud, hence allowing businesses to operate virtually, hence saving the costs of setting up an office.
