Between Ch. 4 of Age of Great Dreams, the MLK Bio, and the speech, it's important to consider context in relation to 1960s versus today. Dr. King was not entirely well-liked, and his message was delivered in front of a crowd that potentially could have turned against him, even as he delivered a speech of peace, hope, and equality.
