As a student of English 102 you have read and will read several texts by various authors. Select one of the texts we will/have read this semester, and write a research paper about the text. You will need to discuss the author CHARLOTTE PERKINS GILMAN, social mores at the time the text was written (FEMALE OPPRESSION) , and any additional elements you feel necessary to qualify your thesis (SHE WAS OPRESSED HERSELF, FORCED NOT TO WORK BECAUSE OF HER HUSBAND).
