On Kimmel assertion of the fitting of the guy code, it holds that the rules apply in the societies today as masculinity is utilized in determining who is a man and a gay man (Kimmel, 608).

The most common example that is illustrated in the media is the alpha male. This is because despite the huge efforts by females to make changes the world has not fully embraced the fact that women hold adequate capability. The masculinity of the men is still dominant in the political and economic world. I, therefore, disagree with her general analysis.
