Rhetoric analysis

    There are different perspectives on what rhetoric is. Rhetoric is an essential element in the human interaction. While on the other side rhetoric analysis is an important tool that is used in the day to day survival. Thus it is clear that these elements cannot be ignored at all as they are crucial and are found everywhere. Rhetoric basically refers to the study and activities that are carried out for persuasion. The humans are able to form large and complex societies and this makes them unique among the animals. In an environment, the humans always find a way to interact with others without causing violation and physical damage and it is through this act that persuasion is reached. Rhetorical analysis is intertwined with the element of rhetoric as it focuses on studying persuasion and the manner in which persuasion is carried out (Longaker & Walker 2011). This is thus used in the human environment as it helps in judging and advocating for the effectiveness of persuasion. This, therefore, enables the humans to more understand, just, well behaved and effective speakers. This paper, therefore, will focus on presenting and discussing the importance of rhetoric and rhetoric analysis to the environment and how they relate to environmental sustainability.

    Environmental sustainability, in this case, aims at promoting sustainable interaction system within the human environment. This ensures that the system supports the good of the people and is essential for the human survival and it balances on the society’s need and in the maintenance of the social condition. Sustainability, in this case, will involve the study of the manner in which the interaction system function, remain diverse and offer everything it needs for the society to remain in balance. It is through this that the people live in harmony with each other in the environment and with those that surround them thus protecting them from violation and physical damage.

    With the increase in the rate of environmental issues that affects the people, it is essential to find a strategy that can be implemented so as to bring about environmental sustainability. Rhetoric, in this case, is essential as it will allow most of the people to persuade one another through their interaction and thus allowing them to come to a consensus. With persuasion towards leading lives that are of high social quality, the people will be able to influence each other in a peaceful way thus enabling them to accomplish environmental sustainability (Longaker & Walker 2011). On the other hand, understanding of the rhetoric allows the people to analyze better ways in which the people can be persuaded. This will enhance the people to judge and advocate well on what is good for the environment and thus any persuasion was done will be for the better of the environment and ultimately its sustainability.

Rhetoric and rhetoric analysis relates as they all share one perspective of persuasion. The actions and beliefs of people are uncertain and thus persuasion is essential as it helps in the reduction of these uncertainties. Once people appreciate the art, rationale and the advantage of a contrary argument, they are able to understand that persuasion contributes towards the many convictions that different people have (Longaker & Walker 2011). People should, therefore, focus on influencing other people towards upholding the standards, morals, values and principles of the environmental management that results to the environmental sustainability.
