For the past 10 weeks we have discussed and explored the power of collaboration as a positive force while emphasizing the importance of the individual and the need to be an independent thinker and contributor. During this Thanksgiving season I would like you to reflect on your reactions to the intensely covered acts of terrorism in as many ways as you can but here are some thoughts and questions to help you along.

1. Do you feel terrorism has impacted how you live your life and interact with others? If so, how?
2. Looking at the leadership/political landscape it seems that some prominent leaders are promoting divisiveness if not outright fear while others seek to frame these events with realistic perspectives that help people to understand. Explore examples of good and bad leadership and explain why you feel as you do. 
3. Do you see analogies to learn from in the skillful ways terrorist use marketing, social media and business practices to effectively threaten so many. 
4. Do terrorists collaborate better than others? Or is it just that when they are succeed it just seems that way?
5. What might you have learned from recent world events that will make you a stronger leader and collaborator.
