For your reflection assignment for this week, please select one primary example from the archive and address the following in a onepage reflection assignment.
Explain how the artifact you chose relates to the origins and spread of religion or culture during the medieval period.
In order to be able to really make a strong statement about what you think your artifact means, please go back to the Week 1 Lesson and review the questions historians ask about artifacts. Then, answer the following questions, using your answers to support your ideas about your artifact.
Describe the example you have selected and provide the specific URL and the image.
Explain the origins and context of the example.
Include examples from the textbook this week that help develop your analysis of the work and its context (make connections between some artifacts described in your textbook and the one you chose from the online museum).
You may do outside research, as well, but please use the DeVry Library as much as possible to find compelling sources about your artifact.
