Your assignment is to write a 1 page paper about a belief or assumption you have held and have never questioned.  It could be a religious belief, cultural practice, societal belief etc. You are to critically analyze this belief or assumption by asking yourself, "Why do I believe this? Who told me? Where did I learn this? Does it fit with my value system? What do other people think about this belief or assumption? Is there any research or other points of views that support other ways of thinking about this?"
