For your first entry, please type 400 words (double spaced in a 12 pt Times New Roman font) in response to the below prompt:

What area of writing are you most confident in? Why?  Explain your answer.  It is ok if you lack confidence overall, but you need to qualify your answer. 
Regarding writing, what area do you need the most work in? It is ok if you wish to discuss several explicit areas.
What’s your plan to make the class enjoyable and useful to you? In other words, what can you do to make yourself succeed in our class?  Be specific. 
Discuss your reaction to our class theme. Do you think it will be engaging?  Interesting?  How do you think the depths of the ocean will compare to the vastness of the stellar and interstellar?  What do you think our texts will be like?  This is a fairly open ended question.  Give a detailed response here—don’t use fluff or be vacuous.
