Paper instructions:
Paper needs to include an Abstract, Headings, Citations, 3 references, good use of grammar, content is in-depth and well addressed, strong evidence of effective critical thinking, contains good insights, well analyzed; contains definitions of terms. Writing style flows well with good expression. Paper overall is well organized and professionally presented.
A. The 3/3 Paper.
1. A 3/3 paper shown in the syllabus means that you are to write a 3-page paper on a predetermined subject excluding the title and reference pages. The last '3' indicates you must reference at least three (3) outside written authoritative peer-review sources on the particular subject of the paper.
B. Paper Grades. Written submissions will be graded on use of APA format, correct use of English grammar, in-depth content, effective critical thinking skills, writing style and organization. See Grading Requirements below.
C. Acceptable Format for Papers.
1. Final papers. All papers must be prepared in the APA (American Psychological Association) format including abstract, headings, in-text citations and references. Submissions must be in final form and error free.
2. Cover page. All assignments MUST have a cover page that contains:
(a) Your name,
(b) St. Leo University
(c) MBA530 – title of paper
(d) Professor’s name
(e) The due date.
(f) Assignment number (*important!!)
3. Margins. All page margins should be the default margins for your word processing program. Use LEFT margin justification only setting.
4. Spacing. All papers must be double spaced only (this also means double spacing only between paragraphs).
5. Check the Purdue Owl website (Webliography Tab in eCollege) for the APA reference style to determine how a direct quote should be presented in the paper.
