- A proposal to build houses for the junior employees in our organization
- Introduction
- Purpose of the proposal
- I am writing a proposal that ought to give a solution to the problem of accessing shelter for the junior employees in the organization. The problem is that junior employees do not get enough salary that helps them in accessing houses enough to cater for their families. I recommend that you will provide the materials to use in building houses and provide a site where the building ought to take place. I hope that you will approve this proposal and buy the building materials within the shortest time possible. Building the new houses for the junior employees will improve their social life and in return upgrade their morale of working.
- The problem with the current form of housing with the junior employees
- Currently, we have a plan of employing 30 junior employees in the organization. Unfortunately, the organization affords to pay more only 250 dollars per month. The reason for the low payment is that we are yet to accomplish the target. The employees should note that the payment might increase in time. The houses that the junior employees are nowadays accessing were build-using materials that were not durable long time ago. In fact, the houses are nowadays leaking water through the roofs especially when there is a heavy down pour. In addition, the houses are to cater for only 30 employees although we will add the rest in the future as the organization grows. When the organization will expand, the number of employees will have increased will be catered for by the management (Jansson, 2010).
- Another problem that the junior employees encounter in terms of shelter is the fact that they share with their children the same room. In addition, some employees share the same room with colleagues due to the shortage in number of houses. There is a need to build houses for employees in order to curb the problems that come up with sharing of houses. For example, the moral values of the society weaken while children who have reached the age of adolescence share the same bedroom with their parents. The organization ought to be an example to the community surrounding. Due to this fact, the employees ought to have better accommodation. These will set a best example to the society in a manner reflecting how the structure of the organization and caters the needs of employees.
- In addition to the above demographics of the housing problem facing the organization, there are healthy problems that arise due to the congestion in the houses. The healthy problems include outbreak of water and airborne diseases. Through the approval, I believe that all these problems will end. The reason why I am addressing this problem is that the education of the children will continue ruin. This is only if the organization lacks the fund to assist in building the houses as soon as possible. The other reason why I am requesting for this proposal to succeed is that I have studied and participated in the social work education.
- I studied my education in southern Asia. I discovered that shelter is an, "essential basic", need to every employee. In many parts of Southern Asia where I have done my research and work on social programs, there is the problem of development in the organizations. In order to stay away from such problem where we will fail to develop the organization and society, the organization ought to start catering for the well-being of the employees (Barusch, 2008). According to my point of view, after the approval of the proposal, the process of building the houses will not take more than six months. Solution of the problem
- In order to accomplish the objectives of solving the above problem, we are calling for assistance for various strategies. The first step is the financing of the program in order to continue with the rest issues. I propose that we buy the materials from an established company that has genuine and original materials. I had worked at three organizations before, where I noted that buying high-quality materials leads to saving of money. The saving comes in a manner that the organization will no longer lose money through the problems that result from using materials that do not attain the recommended standards (Zastrow, 2009). For example, in all the three organizations that I have worked, the idea of using genuine materials in every department is of enormous advantage. I have never witnessed a structure falling in the three organizations because of using genuine materials. The houses that we are aiming to build will each consist of three rooms. The employees might divide the three rooms into kitchen, bedroom and table room according to their prevalence.

- According to the information on budget, the cost of constructing the house is much less than the targeted amount that the organization has set. The cost of labor is low because some of the employees will voluntarily assist in doing the manual work. We will look for qualified employees in the building industry and consider their applications. I can assure that all the money provided will cater for the specific purposes. A board of trustee will make sure that the money is used according to the strategy. Building of these houses will pave the way for success in production. The increase in production will raise due to the morale of workers noting that they will be rent-free. The employees ought to be psychologically fit when working, having in mind that the problem of housing is no more.
- Conclusion
- It will be a considerable benefit to the organization for the approval of this proposal and order for the materials of building the houses. Shelter is an essential part in the life of everyone. Providing employees with the recommended accommodation will be a positive step forward. By the end of six months, the completion of building the houses will be successful.
