Complete the Research Project Assignment

a.    Each student should choose an organization from the following list of industries and write about and describe how that organization either does or does not apply the Master’s Degree program goals and learning outcome competencies, of this course, on a day-to-day basis. (Refer to the course syllabus to determine specific program goals and course learning outcome competencies).  

2.  Students final project essay should include a discussion of content that relates to the following course concepts.

a.    Discuss critical success factors and whether or not you believe that the selected company shows evidence of success for these factors.

b.    Discuss the selected company in the context of the Theory of Constraints.

c.    Discuss if the selected company demonstrates evidence in its operations of results by use of the balanced scorecard.

d.    Discuss which activities of the value chain appear to be the most important to the selected company.

e.    Discuss the concept of customer delivered value in the context of the selected company.

f.      Discuss if the selected company incurs cost of controlling quality and or cost for failing to control quality.

3.  Choose a company, to be researched, from one of the following industries:

a.    Airlines

b.    Autos - tesla? 

c.    Fast Food Chains

d.    Retail

e.    Smart Phones and Tablets - iPhone (Apple)

4.    The content of the research project should be in APA 6th. ed. form and style including a Title page and also a Reference page reflecting author’s cited wording, included in an eight to ten-page paper (Times New Roman 12 font, double spaced); with a minimum of five scholarly references; including the course text as one of the references.
