this is a review about the removal of pharmaceutical compounds/pollutants/residues from water using photocatalysis.
What was asked to do was decide what type of compounds you were gong to focus on that can be removed by photocatalysis.
Generally need to refine what is being looked at in the report and make sure its targeting the right area i.e. the characterisation of catalysts and various modifications is irrelevant for this work Order of sections needs looked at…background of photocatalytic semiconductors is given then antibiotics and then back to photocatalysis mechanism. Need to try and improve the flow of writing. Ideally you want to start with the issues of pollutants in water, specifically the presence of pharmaceutical compounds, followed by an overview of the ‘key’ compounds being investigated e.g. antibiotics/AMR, then the methods of how they can be removed which leads into photcatalysis. From there the mechanism and then specific examples of photocatalysis being used for antibiotics removal in water and the key parameters associated with that which can cover analytical methods
Generally I think more background and context could be added to pharma pollutants in water too i.e. some values would be helpful or perhaps an overview of exposure limits and examples of them being breache.
