What do you expect to achieve through this Executive MBA program?
The MBA program is very important for my career path because it will increase my knowledge and skills in leadership while opening up better opportunities. The knowledge obtained in the intellectual debates and interactions with peers, students and professors is very enriching and will help in career progression. The informative learning methods employed in the program like case studies, research and presentations are quite effective and innovative. They will provide a good foundation for understanding of organisations and how to manage people. After attaining a good academic credentials and work experience, this program will go a long way in ensuring that I do not stagnate in my career by presenting higher employment opportunities such that I will manage to move from mi-level role to senior level management . At such a level I will be able to make strategic decisions that will influence the growth of any firm I will work for.
In addition, this program will give me the capacity to switch careers, such that I can switch from the current position to other roles or industries. As time changes, a need may arise that might make me want to change career and follow another career track where I will get satisfaction and growth. The program will allow for a smooth change. Another important achievement I aim at in MBA program is the experience of good networking. Networking with my peers will assist me in future since we will help one another out in job search and progression. Smart and talented people will hold influential positions in major firms or will become future business leaders. An MBA program assists in self growth since it increases one’s confidence through improved leadership skills, and increased interactions (Bradford, 2015).
