The main idea that scientists depict from this issue is that there is a major difference while one is alive and when a person is dying. Philosophers and religious leaders state that the difference in this both situations is due to spiritual meaning.
- Many people who have ever had such an experience state that they experienced bright light when they were about to die. On the experience of being of light, the scientist by name Mood states that after making many interviews and conducting a lot of research, he came with a conclusion that people experience a very bright light while dying. According to Mood, people who experience the bright light first have a vision of a dim light (Gibson, 2006). The light the light then continues top become brighter as the spirit is nearing to separate with the physical body. The light finally ends becoming brighter until it reaches a point beyond any earthly light can produce. According to many people, they illustrate that the light they experienced did not harm their eyes. The experience of the light according to many people is not effective and does not prevent them from seeing anything that surrounds them.
- From the experience of viewing the light, many religious leaders associate this example with Godly matters. Religious leaders view that, a person’s religious background indicates the level of brightness that a particular individual experiences. According to Mood, he illustrates that those in Christian world belief that the light is a manifestation of Christ. Those who have knowledge in religious issues draw various illustrations that show how Christ has power over death (Randall, 2010). Christian individuals who have ever had the experience state that the experience about seeing the light is real and not a make up. Some of them state that they experienced an image of an angle while seeing the light while others say it was just a plain light.
- According to people who have ever had a near-death experience, they state that there are sensational moments that accompany this experience. According to scientists, there is a close connection of mechanism applied when a person is dying with the dying of the brain. However, scientists have not been able to identify whether consciousness is removable from a living body. Scientists indicate that the experience that many people have concerning the issue of death has a similarity with the Rapid Eye Movement (Gibson, 2006). On this issue, scientists illustrate that this experience comes because of some parts in the brain being in the same activation as the one that happens during REM. Most of the scientists conclude that these experiences that people perceive to have seen are just like how dreams seems to be real in various cases. Some scientists state that the issue of the experiences that most people get is like the hallucinations that can occur in a normal person.
- Many scientists have established various theories concerning the issue of how different people experience when they are about to die. Many of this theory prove to be true while others fail to hold any reliable information. Some of these theories include the one that explains the connection of hallucination and this particular experience (Christian, 2011). The researchers divide themselves into two while describing various issues concerning this arguable topic. Some of them argue that the visions that most people experience while they are about to die is just a functioning of a lump tissue in the dying brain. Others support the views of expressions made by most people who had such experience stating that these experiences are real. Though in most cases, no one can judge whether the story that each particular person give is real or not.
- The near- death-experience experiences fascinate everyone including the learned professionals who perform research about human characters and behaviors. From the research and interviews made by most of the medical scientists, there is reliable truth concerning the issue of this worrying experience. Many people give true stories concerning what they experienced while they were about to die. From the research done by medical scientists, there is a close relationship of an individual life with family members and best friends. This is the reason that makes it possible for a person to have various vision of the loved ones while about to die. The view of scientists that the experiences many people have when about to die is the function of dying brain is arguable. The main question derived from this particular view is whether there is the possibility of a dying brain to behave according to what the affected people explain.
