Prepare an Integrative Critical Analysis of a primary source article listed in your syllabus under
“required readings.” This analysis should be about two (but no more than three) double spaced
pages which consist of critical thinking answers to the following questions.
What is the purpose for the article?
What is the author trying to accomplish?
What issues or problems are raised?
What data, experiences, and evidence are given?
What concepts are used to organize this data, these experiences?
How is the author thinking about the world?
Is their thinking justified as far as we can see from our perspective?
And how do they justify it from their perspective?
How can we enter their perspective to appreciate what they have to say?
