Subject:  To describe and evaluate the project- Campus Communication Problems

 The purpose of the project was to research the challenges facing students at Georgia State University. In planning the project, we designed a group project where students collaborated in researching the challenges, drafting, and revising. The audience of the report is the school administration and the main purpose is to inform them of the challenges we encounter as students and the proposed resolutions.

  During the project, we discussed issues and shared ideas. We found that communication is not effective in areas of financial aid, academic advice, department communication, and advertisement.  Each student had a specific contribution to the project.  Personally, I conducted a research survey and the participants were 500 students. I measured their responses regarding the communication and the data showed that communication is ineffective. I also collaborated with students in writing the analytical report and editing. There were potential shortcomings since some students did not contribute to the discussion. We also had challenges in creating goals and objective but the team skills enable us to accomplish the workload.

 During the project, we had forward and backward progress toward goals. We had backward planning-we came up with the ultimate objective. We highlighted the specific milestones and the desired results.  We also had forward planned- we came up with the best interests of the group, and we highlighted the actions and changes. We proposed the resolutions to the communication problem and we look forward to the school administration to handle the communication issues. Some of the proposed solutions include an increase in financial aid, advising officers should receive training for them to handle the students' inquiries, and there should be IT Service Management that should offer online communication services.
