Two types of adoption take place in America as allowed by the constitution. One of them is International adoption where citizens get the chance to adopt the orphaned children. The government is not entitled to intervene on behalf of those taking care of the children in the country where adoption is taking place. The other type of adoption is stepparent adoption where a parent who agrees to take care of her spouse’s child is fully responsible of all the needs of the particular child. Adoption in America should always take place because it helps in making a bright future to the concerned children. The other reason why adoption ought to take place in America is that the process helps save a number of children from facing death due to various unavoidable circumstances in their home countries. Adoption should take place because it is a legal process in the constitution of America. Adoption is necessary because it contributes in creating international democracy within the country involved and the government of America.

Most people argue that this makes children who would be of significant help in their motherland country lose their citizenship they acquired through birth. The truth of the matter is that adoption helps in saving orphaned children from possible deaths. According to the statistics in the migration department of America, they indicate that most of the children adopted in America seek for the process due to various unavoidable circumstances in their home country that may lead to death (Obama 2). Most of the circumstances that leads to children seek for the process include war, famine and other common disasters.
- The other main reason for supporting the need of adoption to take place in America is that it is a legal process in the constitution. The constitution allows legal adoption of a person who is under the age of 18 years. The additional requirement is that the child ought to be in need of help and no force ought to be applied during the process of adoption. The constitution of America allows legalization of various bodies that assist in the adoption process.
