Questions and Topics We Can Help You Answering;
This short essay needs to be a minimum of 500 words (not counting references). After reading/watching all of the materials assigned for this week, please respond to the following question:
How should racial inequality in the United States be fought?
This intentionally broad question could be addressed in different ways. You can answer it in terms of specific social/political/economic policies or changes (such as those described by the Platform and Robin Kelley links). Or, you could focus on which kinds of strategies or methods should be used to advance those larger changes (such as those discussed by MLK and Malcolm X).
***You MUST refer to specific points, ideas, claims, or evidence from at least three of the assigned readings/videos from this week when building your answer.

***You also MUST explain why your recommendation is better than some alternative (either from the materials this week or beyond them). If you think militant civil resistance is necessary to dismantle structural racism, explain why other methods are flawed. If you think some form of reparations or wealth redistribution is required, then you could explain why "colorblind" approaches are insufficient for fixing racism in the US., etc...
