Paper Instructions:

Besides providing a summary of what the research paper is about please expand on relevant concepts of that organism/topic/process studied.  In other words, assume you will explain what is it you read to an audience who is not necessarily familiar with your topic. In this way this will touch on concepts of natural history, ecology and evolutionary biology that pertain to the biological organism the research paper is about, and at the same time apply or review keywords and concepts that I have provided.

Summary of research paper. Very brief on methodology. Focus on discussion/conclusion, importance, applications, relevance.

10 ecology keywords/terms covered in class. Include these and describe, or explain, each as they occur in your written presentation. Terms can’t refer to the same concept (i.e. genus and species or distribution and random distribution)
Terms I would like to be used are: Ecosystem, evolution, biosphere, adaption, gene, natural selection, diet, resource selection, principle of allocation, size-selection predation (If you would like to use others please let me know!)
