He is well known for his book; The Emperor of All Maladies. This article answers the question why prevention of this disease in these countries is not enough. The article also answers the question, what is the effect of HIV/AIDS to the social and economic development of these countries. The article mainly revolves around issues of prevention in these developing countries. The article gives a glimpse of what happens to the economic and social status of a countries using data. It explores the situation these countries are in for failing to put in place preventive measures.
