Questions We Can Help You To Answer
Millennium Development Goal Project
This is a two-part individual project. Each student selects a Millennium Development Goal (MDG) to address in a paper and also does a presentation of the MDG to the class. The paper should be an explanation of the MDG with an example provided to its use.
Elements to incorporate in the paper include:
What are MDGs and how did they come about?
Why are they important?
What implications do MDGs have for global health outcomes?
Explain the selected MDG.
What is its goal?
Where is it in terms of achievement at this date?
Provide an example of where the MDG has been incorporated and show its progress.
Appropriate references should be used in the paper relating to the MDG and its application example. These include the text, scholarly peer-reviewed journal articles 5 years old or less in publication date. The WHO MDG website may be used as a reference but cannot be the entire basis of the supportive explanation or documentation for the MDG.
The paper is to be completed in APA format (title page, header, reference page, etc.). No abstract is necessary. The body of the paper should be between 6 – 10 pages in length.
The MDG rubric will be used to grade the MDG paper.
