Assignment details: The essay assignment for this course requires that you critically read and evaluate a short, famous ethnography on the San/Ju’hoansi culture of Southern Africa.  The essay will take the form of formal, academic book reviews.  You must follow the instructions for this type of review on this website: https://www.insidehighered.com/advice/2015/03/27/essay-writing-academic-book-reviews

Read the article on the website and after you are finished reading the ethnography, follow the suggestions and the template/guidelines of how to structure the book review.  Your essay should be structured exactly as suggested with all the same sections (7 of them) and in the order presented.    

DO NOT write it in a subjective first-person style (using "I" or "me").  Academic book reviews are written for readers who only want to know the facts about the book--readers do not care about your own personal experience reading it.  :)
