This is because the longer a tattoo takes to be completed the pricier it becomes.  Therefore, time is essential in establishing the value of the tattoo. Additionally, other factors such as shape, placement and size of a tattoo help in the determination of price value. The tattoo industry is faced with different social challenges due to the negative perceptions of friends and family. In addition, tattoos are associated with a painful process and therefore some artists believe that clients utilize the tattoo sessions as an abreaction form. Some individuals experience physical and emotional damages during the tattoo session because of the pain they obtain. Trust and relations are built between the tattoo artists and their clients who help in the elimination of price and time challenges as they grow closer which eases the negotiation process.
