PROPOSAL LETTER
Walden Community welcomes people from different parts of the world regardless of race or ethnicity. Because of this, the community comprises of people from different ethnic backgrounds, interacting on a daily basis as they share ideas and exchange customs. She, therefore, believes that the community is best suited to enhance her growth and development in the community. Due to the diversity in culture within the community, she will be in a better position to improve her social and communication skills because she will be learning from people with different perspectives, perceptions, and qualities. This will enable her to be able to interact with people of different culture and learn the best way to communicate with them with respect to their culture.
Being self-driven is one of the qualities that every individual should be focusing on. This, therefore, motivates her into believing in herself as a self-driven person who possesses various skills. She thus uses these skills on a regular basis to ensure that both her interpersonal goals and the organizational goals are accomplished. She recognizes the importance of keeping time which is why she ensures that any task that she has is completed in due time and it is done to the best level of satisfaction. Throughout her experiences over the years, she has been able to learn the importance of building good relationships with others and working together for better results.
Walden Community is one of the best places that she can be able to practice and use her skills and experiences that she has been able to acquire during her period while pursuing her degree. Other than completing her MFIT hours, she also possesses proficient therapist skills that could help others in the community who may be facing difficult situations and need help coping with life.
Helping the needy has always been her major passion and she often does what she can so as to help those who are in need. It is through her desire, passion, and determination that led her to open a child care which is responsible for feeding the homeless and assisting children and the elderly who are facing challenges in their lives in the community.
According to her, education is quite valuable and she strongly believes that attaining knowledge is a process that never ends. Therefore, for her to become a more effective and valuable member, she hopes to attain knowledge and training that will improve her communication and social skills. Thus, she will be able to interact with other members since she understands the different language skills and facial expressions that are applied while communicating so as to ensure that the message is delivered effectively.
She believes in building relationships with other people as a way to establish a community that is willing to work together to bring about positive change. The cohesion of people within the community would enhance them to be united into working together, achieving goals hence success and efficiency. With the knowledge and skills that she possesses, she engages others in projects that will be beneficial to a group and not just one individual. Walden Community will be a better place to incorporate her policy to those whom she associates with and work together for the common good of everyone in the community. Her devotion and determination in developing her skills and her strong willingness help the less fortunate in the Walden community will definitely result in her interpersonal growth and growth of the society.
