Paper instructions:

Purpose: Consumer engagement is not a “one size fits all” issue. There are a number of individual attributes that form a basis for health beliefs. These beliefs often affect an individual’s ability and desire to engage in their health and health care.
The purpose of this project is to create a better understanding on the impact that certain demographic traits and health beliefs have on a consumer engagement in their health and healthcare
Project Description: Each student will choose a demographic trait from the list below and research how that trait may affect patient engagement.
    Age
    Gender
    Ethnic and cultural background
    Religious beliefs
    Socio-economic status
    Sexual orientation

Note: You do not need to limit your demographic to one dimension on this list. While project 1 is research focused, make sure you will have realistic access to your demographic to complete the surveys needed in project 2.
Deliverable
    The student will present their demographic, associated health belief and engagement findings in a concise 3-5 page paper (not including bibliography). The research done and the paper created will be the basis of the student’s final project.
In addition to the paper, the student will create a one- page summary on their findings to share with their peers. you incorporate at least 3-5 references to support your arguments. 
  Your paper should  clearly articulate the tie between the chosen demographic attribute, the health belief and its effect on engagement
