Alex (Street Fighter) VS Blaze (Mortal Kombat)
PART I: You are reporters for TMZ, and you are assigned to write a 5 paragraph expose on a unique combatant pairing in their respective fighting universe. You must select one character from Mortal Kombat and one character from Streetfighter/Tekken You will go online and search their respective names through the internet or even Wikipedia to gather your research info.
Suggested Blueprint: If you feel comfortable with your writing style, you can divert from here. But what is required is a creative intro, transitions between paragraphs, the required thesis statement in with the three points of orientation, and the flipped thesis.
1st paragraph:  Thesis statement (last statement in paragraph) Person A from (SF/T or MK) and Person B from (SF/MK/ T) stand out among their peers due to their origin stories, physical characteristics, and abilities.
2nd paragraph: The first reason Person A and B stand out is due to their origin stories. (how the person became said hero or villain; was it an accident, tragedy, etc. two or three sentences from the source website. Rewrite in your own words). 
3rd Paragraph: The second reason Person A and B stand out is their physical characteristics. This is where you describe using as many colorful adjectives about each. Describe their appearance: long flowing fiery red hair, tall, dark and handsome (etc). Do not just list their weight-especially when it comes to women. Make it poetic. Also describe their costumes in detail.
4th paragraph: The third reason…is their abilities. Here is where you describe their powers in detail. If they don’t have powers, then describe if they use specialized weapons or gadgets.
5th Paragraph: (Flip thesis) Origin stories, physical traits, and abilities are the three reasons why Person A and Person B stand out among their contemporaries in their respective comic book universes.-(Break the 4th wall) Address your reader.
PART II: During your research you are going to present 3 interesting factoids about your fighter pairing in front of the class
PART III: Based on your research you are going to create an original fighter, you are going to tell me what brand he/she fights for and type a one page story encompassing the origin story, their physical traits, and their abilities
