Create a dance concept by answering the following questions. Envisioning dance as an agent for social change: Choose an issue that you feel strongly about (domestic abuse, poverty, racism etc.). Think like a choreographer and discuss the following: how would you conceptualize a dance dealing with this issue? What metaphor might frame the dance? What kind of movement would you use? How many dancers and male/female ratio? What music or text? What lighting, sets or costume? What would the title be? Describe the opening moment and the ending image of the dance.
