Personal Statement to University of California

My intended major is economics specifically principles of macro and microeconomics, calculus with analytic geometry, financial accounting, and social sciences introduction to statistics. The classroom has increased the desire to study economics at a higher level since the topics of study really influence what makes things happen the way they do with regards to the social and business factors. The outside society is highly in need of the economics skills in order to be able to manage the simple steps for success in the business. The outside experience calls for an improvement in the social setting and this can only be done through the acquisition of vital skills of economics. As a matter of fact, economics is not in any way a study of how money is made but a social science of the factors that determine the distribution and production of services and goods in a consumer capitalist setting. Economics is a study that is driving the world market with the production and delivery of quality services and which influences the economy of a country. Studying a degree in economics is a benefit to the society and also personal benefit since it opens the chances for one to understand the list of things that happen in our lives such as what is learned, how to learn, how to work, what to eat and many other fields. Getting to understand the supply and the demand including the prices benefit the life of the student in a huge way. Economics has a valuable impact on every walk of life and the chance to get into a university for further studies increases the chances for each person to get involved in what influenced the current market. Majoring in economics will allow the growth and diversification of the related field which will similarly influence more productivity to shape the society in the right direction.

My greatest talent includes being very good in sports, a fast learner and a person who is highly involved in teamwork. The talents have allowed the development and the increase in knowledge and capacity to understand the environment. The talents and skills have grown over the years since in every field, one experiences different engagements which influence the things that affect our daily lives and form the basis on the best ways possible to overcome the issues. While using the talents, certain skills are acquired which also affect the level of the talent making it even better for the benefit of the society. The change in the talent has been influenced by the activities and the kind of environment involved which has created the chances for success. At a tender age, the talent was still underdeveloped due to the low exposure experienced but as time passes and the level of knowledge and understanding improves, the talent grows significantly. More exposure means more experience and this improves the know-how of a person and the capability of the person largely influences the talent. Teamwork is one of the skills that have helped and the most meaningful in terms of development. Being able to embrace other people and understand the diversification and be able to work together as a team influences success. Through the teamwork, one is able to socialize and get to know new things which allow for the acquisition of knowledge which eventually influences the success of a person. Talent comes naturally but one has to nature and work on developing it. For some time, I have worked to develop the talent which has not been easy or hard since it has created opportunities for every situation ventured in life. Developing the skills requires knowledge and some level of understanding of the involved field.

Being the second time to trying to graduate from college, it has been a hard experience especially due to the influence of playing a lot of sport, the grades went down making it hard to concentrate with the studies and even do the simple homework. Playing affected the performance as there was no single time I attended classes which eventually resulted in lack of graduating. After this challenge, I went back to China for a period of two years and came back focused and ready to proceed with the studies. Eventually, I graduated and the GPA improved to 3.6. This is one of the most difficult challenges ever experienced in life. To get over the experience, it required the changing of tactics and the view of life to eliminate the challenges. While in China, there were a lot of challenging situation which influenced the change in thinking and the chances of life. Knowing that life is not all about playing and having fun has influenced the change in perception and which has influenced my improvement in the grades. The most arguably way of dealing with the challenge is concentrating on the most vital parts of life which will affect the future. Such things include enrolling for more study and dedicating more time to learn and influence studying. This has allowed me to be able to change the course of my life and also improve the grades while in school. Being able to attain some education is one of the most important factors in life and this can only be done through dedication and willingness for success.  The bad company that influenced me to play more and forgets about studying is a thing of the past since the decisions made about life are highly regarded to reduce the chances for a replica. The relationship with the family has improved due to the interest in making a move towards taking control of my life in a positive direction which will result in success. Family always appreciates when one of their own shows some level of maturity and being able to hold up to integrity.  

One of the standing points that make me a qualified student for University of California is the ability to uphold integrity. Integrity is one of the things that make people different from another which is something of value. Being able to distinguish between what is right and wrong is very good since it reduces the chances of failure which is a negative result to both the society and to oneself.  Caring for the other person is also something that is precious since it shows how special a person is to the society. Caring for one another is vital especially since in school there are many people from different background and who all converge for the same thing which is to succeed in school and eventually in life. Everybody needs the other person to perform in group works and work as a team. Many people who have been successful in life share the same idea of being caring to one another. Family always comes first and being able to have and embrace the family indicates that there is harmony and where there is harmony there is the act of being a success through support. Having a family is a precious gift since at all times they can be the last people to assist a person in life. Success does not come from being alone and dedicating no time for family since the family is a high contributor to being successful and happy. Being passionate about the ability to help others in every way possible is good especially in a university since it shows how concerned one is to the other person. Perfectionist is also a field that is excellent when it comes to associating and learning since it eliminates the chances of error. A person who is almost perfect in their own activities always influences success towards his life and this is a positive motive in the university. Animals also require be loving and showing concern. One might think that an animal has no meaning but the animals do listen and can feel the pain when they are neglected and therefore being passionate about them ensures that they are comfortable through associations. After being admitted to the university, learning, experiencing the prestige and the education system are the three goals of being in the university. There is no better place I would rather be than being at the university studying and making new friends from the same institution for diversity. Feeling happy and concerned about the future always comes from being in the best environment which is being in the university.
