To earn the points in this extra credit, you will need to find 3 local level (i.e., circuit, county, or city) organizations (public/private, non-profit/for-profit, CJ-based/community-based) that are potential employers or offer internship opportunities in corrections or juvenile justice.
As we are learning, most of the work of the CJS is done at the local level. You are encouraged to find organizations near the county in which you currently reside with an eye on future career-enhancing opportunities.
You will receive one point for each organization that you identify
3 organization must include the following information:
•Name of the organization
•A website link
•Name of the person who leads the organization or handles applications
•Address of where the organization is physically located
•County where the location is located
•Mailing address for the organization, if it is different than the physical address
•Phone numbers for the organization
•Any information regarding internship opportunities
