PART ONE - ONE PAGE
During Week 3, you will be asked to submit an academic research paper in response to the following statement: Recent Supreme Court rulings have served to redefine our original concepts of our Fourth Amendment freedom from unreasonable searches. You may view these rulings as either a tool to hamstring law enforcement and make it more difficult to enforce criminal laws OR an essential tool for the judiciary to secure fundamental liberties and to protect the public from overzealous police practices.
Defend your position on the issue above using your findings from interviews of at least two law enforcement or legal professionals (preferably one of each) and compile your findings in a paper which will utilize at least three (3) academic resources, aside from your assigned readings.
This week’s assignment is to begin conducting interviews which will serve as a foundation for your paper. You will be required to interview a law enforcement and a legal professional regarding the impact of the Exclusionary Rule upon law enforcement and trial practices. These two interviews will serve as an effective resource, and should be used to broaden your research in support of or to refute the opinions expressed in your paper.
For purposes of this assignment, please identify the two persons that you chose to interview and list at least (5) FIVE relevant questions that you plan to use during the interview. You should begin to conduct these interviews as soon as possible as you will be required to write a paper for Assignment 3.2 related to the information that you acquire.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no guidance provided in terms of the length of paper or the number of words needed.
