There is a rapid development in electronic communication and advancement in the social media. This has led to an increase in the simplicity of collecting data, processing, discovery, storage and disclosure. In such a modern electric world, almost every move taken by a person can be observed. Information can be tracked and stored for later use. There is a possibility to follow up someone’s communication including private files stored by a person privately. People’s behavior can also be observed (Anttiroiko, 2008). With this electronic development, it is also possible to access private information for instance, the website visited by a person at every specific time, including the location of that particular user at that moment. Therefore, with this aspect of electronic development, it is difficult to assume that there is any measure of privacy.
These are some of the tips a manager can use to lead the subordinates in a proper way. First of all, managers should value their subordinates by appreciating their contributions in the business. This also means that a manager should always be close to the subordinates and can be approached very easily and should know all the members he or she is leading (Andersen, 2012). By being closer to them, you will be able to correct them where there is a mistake and understand their interests. Secondly, leaders should also not behave to be knowing everything. By having such a belief, he will be willing to welcome ideas from other members of the organization regardless of one’s position and this will promote teamwork. A manager should also be fair with all his subordinates (Andersen, 2012). This means, all employees should be treated equally without any single discrimination.
