ANXIETY AND BURN
Anxiety refers to the feeling of nervousness, unease or worry. It is typically the moment of an imminent event which one is uncertain about. This causes worry, apprehension and concern about the possibility of an outcome. Anxiety is accompanied by eagerness that is likely to cause panic attacks. This causes disorders that may include chest pains, sweating, unusually and irregular heartbeats together with a feeling of choking. This can be described by a person saying that he or she feels like going crazy. It is usually associated with no routine trends of one’s life. This shows common phobia in a person and in extreme circumstances it can lead to serious mental illness (Fishman et al, 2010).
Burns are the type of injury that affects the skin and other tissues in the body. This can be caused by friction, electricity, heat, radiation or even chemicals. Smoking and alcoholism can also form a burning sensation on the skin. Burns can be caused by an individual or violence among the people. If not serious the burns can heal quickly but severe burns can cause damage to the body tissues and this will make them take more time in order to cure (Fishman et al, 2010).
Burns and anxiety cause distress to the body and will limit an individual in being productive. This is because the body is not at its best due to the fear of the anxiety and the pains associated with the burns. This experience can be frightening. As a result of the burns, one is likely to develop a phobia of anything that emits heat and can cause a burn. Due to the phobia developed an individual will always be anxious about what the outcome will be when dealing with heat (Fishman et al, 2010).
