As you have seen in several of the grants reviewed, this section can be called many different things from project design to proposed activity. Regardless of the name this section should be a comprehensive description of the project goals and objectives.

This week you will develop this core section of your grant. Each outline will be different based on your proposed project and funder guidelines so there is no one outline that everyone can follow for this section.

Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the funder criteria and purpose of the program design and activities. The piece clearly and succinctly addresses the goals and objectives and any other elements necessary for a complete program design. 

Uses compelling content that is appropriate and relevant; supported with current data. 

Demonstrates detailed attention to- and successful execution of- a wide range of proposal procedures particular to this specific discipline and genre.
