- Excellence in this field is fully supported by my continued research and contribution in various departments related to nursing. I have gone through various evaluations conducted by my teachers in college and the students polls in which I have managed to appear the best. During my years in college, my course load included applied sciences, laboratory chemistry and discrete mathematics. My plans in this field are to become a reliable doctor specializing in my area of interest.
- Job description of a registered Nurse
- As a registered nurse, I am entitled to promote good health to all patients in the working environment the government ought to position me. As a registered nurse, I have an obligation of educating the public about conditions related to medical profession that would affect them. I also ought to treat and provide emotional support to the affected families. The other role as a registered nurse is to focus on the needs of every patient in the hospital.
- Performance appraisals
- In my performance appraisal, I have managed to attain a high level of competency. I always demonstrate courtesy to all my colleagues and patients in the hospital. I always show respect to the patience privacy by knocking in every room I ought to enter in while in the working place environment. I am competent in my communication skills and respect the views of other colleagues and patients.

- According to my competency checklist, I attain a performance level of five that is in the highest category of outstanding. My percentage score is always 8% out of the rating range of 10%.

- One of my ambitions is to continue with education in order to attain my set goals. Prior to attaining my professional goals, I have a target of engaging in other courses like driving that ought to increase my personal experience in other life apart from the professional one (Schwab, & Gelfman, 2005). - In-service education programs
- I have managed to engage in various in-service education programs in my course and carrier as a nurse. Some of the education programs I have engaged in include counseling of depressed patients. Making counseling to those patients with chronic diseases in order, they have hope of a better future (Liebler, & McConnell, 2011). I also have managed to attend the education program of learning how to provide documentation for in-service attendance. The level of competency in the in-service education program was 7% out of the required 10%.
- Other
- In addition to my academic achievements, I have also engaged in improving the social welfare of the community. I have been able teach members of the community how to engage in a healthy living while performing their daily obligations. I have also been able to help members of the community to have the courage of seeking medication (Roux & Halstead, 2009).
- List of committees
- In my carrier as a nurse, I have managed to attend various meetings in different committees. My personal interaction with other members of the hospital has helped in creating a strong relationship with the management and therefore been a member of the committees (Harris, 2010). Some of the nursing committees I have managed to be a member include the “Biothecs” committee that discussed various clinical issues. I also managed to be a member of the “Emergence Response Committee”. The committee discussed various issues that demonstrated how the institution would be responsive to various emergencies.

- I have managed to make several publications while in school. I have acquired a high level of writing and reading skills that help me in performing my daily duties.
