The final essay for this class is a 2000 word research paper. This essay is worth 200 points. It should reflect your best work based on the assignments and forum work you have completed thus far. 

If there is a theme you have been thinking about during this course - perhaps some article that got your attention - it should be a good starting point. Ask yourself what you want to know, and then go do some research. 

Consult pages 470 - 475 in WfA to assist in this process.

I don't care so much about the length as I do the quality of the argumentation and writing in general. That said, 

1. It should double-spaced, with one-inch margins and a 12pt font. Give it a proper title.

2. It should observe all the rules of WfA.

3. It should employ templates/principles from TSIS (italicize them).

4. Underline the thesis statement.

5. Use proper sources (between 7-10 should suffice), citation methods, relevant examples and experts when appropriate.

6. Try using an argument type (e.g., an argument from analogy) to prove your point(s).
