School Counseling Issue Research Presentation Guidelines and Rubric Students must select a topic from the below list. Please be advised no two people or pair can do the same topic. Each student must inform the professor and the class of their topic before beginning the project. The presentation must include the following format: Students will prepare and present a 30minute presentation regarding a school counseling issue of your choice. Students will include the following: • Desсrіption of the issue/topic, o including statistics of occurrence, definition of topic • Developmental consideration regarding the issues in a K-12 setting • Multicultural Consideration regarding the topic (Must discuss 2 considerations as it relates to the topic) o Can be a discussion regarding ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, ability level (disability or gifted), immigration status, religion, socioeconomic status etc. • Role of the School Counseling regarding the Topic • How it relates to a Comprehensive School Counseling Program • References (intext and reference page)
