The movie of choise: "The breakfast club"
Assignment:
1. Watch the breakfast club.
2. Analyze the movie for references of the American Dream, stratification, and inequality. THE PURPOSE OF THIS PAPER IS NOT TO SUMMARIZE YOUR FILM CHOICE. The purpose is to provide an in-depth sociological and critical analysis of the movie. You must incorporate each of the above concepts listed.
3. Film Presentations: On the day you choose to present, you will provide a 5-10 minute presentation of your analysis. You will present to the class why you chose the film and summarize your findings. PowerPoint presentations and clips from your chosen film are highly encouraged.
Paper Requirements:
Papers MUST be at least 5 pages in length, double-spaced. Please don’t exceed 6 pages. Please use Times New Roman font. Either MLA or APA format may be used. Papers must include a Works Cited Page.
