Integration between Islamic art and Contemporary Art
Art has mainly influenced each and everything that actually happening in the world, this is because art is very significant, since through creativity it can be used to either pass a message or otherwise restore the culture (Muliyadi et al, 23). The Islamic for instance is among the oldest types of art and it has also influenced the emergence of the modern art which strongly depends on it. This is so because, the contemporary culture mainly takes after the Islamic art, since the Islamic art had dominated in different parts of the world and thus leading to the emergence of the contemporary culture. This paper is therefore going to look at the integration between the Islamic art and the contemporary art.
The Islamic art strongly influences the Islamic art and thus most of the contemporary culture is copied from the Islamic art. Most of the modern art has been the improvement of the Islamic art and thus making the modern art to look different from the Islamic art. During the 7th and the 8th centuries, the Islamic art had dominated in all over the Middle East, northern Africa and some parts of Europe which are also dominated by the Muslims (Muliyadi et al, 25). This therefore led to the domination of Islamic art in different parts of the world. The western art was therefore copied by from the Islamic art so that the westerners could have their own unique forms of art. This later led to the growth of the contemporary art which seems to be different from the Islamic art.
The research has not carefully looked into the contemporary culture, thus making the Islamic culture to be its mother culture. This is so because, the contemporary art is very different from the Islamic art in the sense that it has been able to use the technology to make it very unique and different (Muliyadi et al, 26). Even though the research claims that the contemporary art comes from the Islamic art, the contemporary art is by far very different from the Islamic art as it has been able to incorporate the technology and thus making it look even more pleasing.
This research is therefore going to help people to be able to understand the origin of the contemporary culture. Thus most people will be able to understand why some contemporary artworks seem to be the same as the Islamic art work. Moreover, this will also act as an eye opener by showing how the Islamic art, through the contemporary art has changed and it is now using the new technology in order to come up with new and unique forms of art (Muliyadi et al, 26). If the research could not have been conducted, then most people could not have been able to understand the influence of the Islamic art in the world.
The Islamic art has had little influence of the contemporary art simply because most of the contemporary art is majorly influenced by the nature. This therefore makes the contemporary art to be very different from the Islamic art which is majorly influenced by the Islamic religion and its dictates (Muliyadi et al, 27). On the other hand, the contemporary art has mainly utilized the use of the new technology in order to make its work to be more entertaining and very unique. Whereas the Islamic art has only dwelt on the things which influence the Islamic religion and thus looking very outdated. This therefore means that the contemporary art is very different from the Islamic art.
