Movie and Game violence
Thesis statement
The Matrix video game as I watched during my adulthood has had many fans since it was founded on March 31, 1999. The violent video game lies on the technical model that we are mainly shown by many computer packages. The computer program permits everybody in the matrix to do anything they wish to do. In the first opening in the movie, it displays trinity skipping across buildings that are disconnected by huge streets in a town with many people.
The game is against morals as if you pay attention to it; one can see how it is out of the important decisions based on moral. For instance, Neo could have taken the red or the blue pill in the game, this explains why we are connected to the moral decisions in the games that we are playing and not all the decisions that we make seem than others. This example is completely opposite of moral range although they have their own effects on the personal moral status more than they have on the personal opinions. The game focuses mainly on the moral of value mainly on the decision between the red and the blue pill. According to Neo, the decision was so easy; his main life aim was to discover what the Matrix is thus he had to choose the red pill (Wachowski, 6).
To Cypher, decision to his is more complicated. It is possible to select the red pill when one is not aware of the later complications. Cypher has already known the truth and he regrets of making a bad choice while Neo become the champion. Everyone would like to become a hero, but the important thing to focus is what to do if you get yourself in Cypher’s condition. We have to first forget the battle with the computers and think about how the world would be if it was the sort of the Matrix, would we live in the real it? How would we answer the question based on how much people value pleasure than truth? All matters are pleasure but truth is valuable on its own. Another main question on moral is about the impartiality of the judgmental values (Wachowski.76).
At the end Smith asks Neo why and what is the reason behind the Mr. Anderson fighting. Smith is eager to whether he is fighting for freedom, peace, love or truth. Smith fights the vales that the persons see as important in that they claim that they are man-made creations, like the matrix itself. Neo does not want to put Smith in the battle but he fights due to his own choice. I turn to be a moral non- objectivist and agree with Smith claiming that there is no objective truth that is based on the decisions of value, right or mistaken. It is wrong to use the Matrix to betray people or mislead them against their will (Wachowski, 77).
The video game is less effective as it has many displays of the real and the fantastic which are found in it. In the fiction movie, the matrix, its main characters are incorporeal computer programs that are designed on a computerized way. They are so much in the strange world than what they are not even aware that they are acting as computer programs in an imitation. Their bodies are live and are kept deep under the earth which had been destroyed as part as a single holocaust. In the video game, children and the adults are put in huge detailed imitations such as virtual world where they can travel on an unknown landscape or hunt down and kill their enemies. The other reason as to why the video game is less effective is the flipping of its sequels (Christy, 26).
Despite the fact that the game has its success in the cultural success, the two sequels were green lit. All the characters are brought back by the Wachowski’s but when the Revolutions’ acclaims ended their rolling, the sequence was seen as a disappointment. It is true that the sequels has their great moment but the whole game and the complicated expansion of the domain left most of it fans with questions and answers. What made it not effective is that the series failed to continue its motion as shown first in the film and that the main reason as to why the matrix follow-ups tumbledown the agreement (Christy, 28).
The content would be positively affected if the work was censored. It could have a huge special effect and a brooding suspicion, character, conversation and consistency. The game challenges what are real and the part of the actual reality of the cyber so that it turns up confusing the fans and the characters in the movie. It could also been changed as it is connected to violence and the linguistics used so that most of the teenagers who are now begging to see it handle it without fear and problem. It was not censored; it is an action movie that is greater for the teenagers. Despite many fights and shootings, there is no blood shed and nothing graphic is shown in it (Christy, 64)
