If a situation arises that requires sudden change, a person is forced to come up with a new way of handling the situations. Interestingly, this leads to a person becoming an entrepreneur."
Although change can drive one towards entrepreneurship, is this always the best route if change is immediate / instantaneous?

Read the attached “Xemba Translations Case Study” before completing this task.
Scenario:
Xemba Translations has begun the process of trying to accommodate the increased number of telecommuters at the company. As the newly hired project manager, brought in to take over completion of the project, you have a milestone meeting scheduled with the project sponsor. A portion of the meeting will be focused on the current risks of the project. There was a risk assessment study done early in the project, but as it has now been several weeks since the project began, you determine that a new risk assessment should be conducted. The updated risk assessment matrix will help the team be aware of the current risks and the specific strategies you expect to use to mitigate those risks.
The project sponsor is interested in keeping up to date on how the project is progressing. The sponsor is expecting documentation, including metrics, that breaks down how the project teams have been performing and what current issues need to be addressed.
Task:
A. Create an addendum to the risk assessment matrix that documents five current risks to the project, addressing each of the following points for each risk:
• Description of risk
• Impact
• Likelihood of occurrence
• Degree of impact
• Initial action to take if event occurs
• Team member responsible
• Strategies for prevention and mitigation
B. Explain the metrics you would use to measure the project’s performance.
1. Justify why these metrics would be appropriate to use for this project.
2. Discuss the project’s current status based on these metrics.
3. Analyze three problems that currently exist based on these metrics by doing the following:
a. Discuss how three problems could affect project implementation and post-project success.
b. Discuss how you would mitigate or remove each problem.
C. Prepare an executive summary (suggested length of 2 pages) for the project sponsor that communicates your analysis and recommendations from parts A and B.
D. When you use sources, include all in-text citations and references in APA format.
Relationships with suppliers have become critical to the success of businesses competing in the global market. Lateral integration, the free flow of information, and the formation of collaborative partnerships with suppliers have become key steps for improving performance. For this week's Discussion, respond to the following questions:
What competitive advantages can a lean supply strategy confer on the manufacturing industry? Explain in detail how these advantages are secured and maintained.
How can the supplier relationship be used to secure broader objectives for the organization than purely the supply of materials? Base your answer on ideas in the journal article "Use the Supply Relationship to Develop Lean and Green Suppliers."
Develop or select the instruments will use to collect data and conduct interviews and the appropriate sampling or research methods for your quantitative design.
Write a 700 word paper that addresses the following questions:
Develop the overall data analysis approach and quantitative and qualitative result reporting: •How will you have access to the population to be sampled or interviewed? •What are the instruments you will use to collect data or qualitative information? •What is the appropriate sampling method? •What sampling frame will be used? •What is the appropriate sampling size? •How will the sample size be determined? •Which qualitative methods will be used and why? •Which statistical tests will be used and why? •How will the results and insights be displayed? •What conclusions should be made if the hypothesis is found to be correct or if it is incorrect?
Discuss the timing and resources required to conduct this research effort and how you will use the insights developed from the study to influence an improvement in the business process or attempt further research.
