Michael plays the role of a son of Corleone in the movie. He depicts to be cruel and full of inhuman in the movie. Moreover, he is cold-blooded and ruthless character who gets way with everything that seems to block him achieve his motives. Other elements depicted from this character include the fact that smart and determined. This is the opposite side of Michael and he manages to play this role perfectly in the movie. She is a woman who differentiates herself with the livelihood of other women in the fact that she does not accept the Mafia way of living. When other women in the society give in after engaging in a fight, she manages to stay strong. Another aspect depicted from this character is the fact that she manages to lose her self-confidence. She does not seem to realize the truth about the reality of what she is facing in life. It seems that she is blinded by the love of Michael. Kay manages to become the first person who overcomes the power of his husband. This is depicted in the fact she reveals her miscarriage was an abortion and this challenges Michael in a different way never seen before in the movie.

Tom Hagen is a character that depicts to be different from other men in the fact that he does not separate from the world of women.
