Paper Instructions:

Goals:
to gain insight into a current issue in advertising as social communication;
to become competent in identifying, deconstructing and critiquing advertising codes, conventions and strategies;
to practice close, textual analysis in the context of larger social issues and past or contemporary cultural trends.
Basic Requirements (see also General Requirements below)
Approximately 1800-2400 words or 6-8 pages
Draw upon class readings and lectures of Module 3
Analyze a small set of ads that are somehow related
Format according to APA style
Include a bibliography or works cited page
Papers will be assessed on their originality, creativity and organization as well as on the demonstrated mastery of basic writing and research skills including: development of a thesis and clear argument, effective use of research sources and relevant advertising examples, and ability to express ideas clearly. Your professor and TA are resources, so is the Student Learning Commons http://learningcommons.sfu.ca. Draw upon those resources early in the writing process.

Suggestions to guide your analysis:
You should choose your ads carefully; select ads that will allow you to make substantial and relevant arguments about past or recent trends in advertising and consumer culture.
For this longer paper, 3-4 ads is probably ideal but you might choose fewer or more depending on your topic and findings. More print ads, fewer TV ads is a good rule. Keep your analysis focused on your arguments. You will not be able to say everything there is to be said about 4 or 5 ads unless you focus on the most relevant issues and develop these into a thesis.
If you chose television advertising, you will need to access to multiple viewing; working from memory of an ad seen on TV will not be adequate.
This is to be a critical analysis; you will be required to provide a reading of the ads based on argument. Do not duplicate the rhetoric of the ads; I want to hear your voice, not the ads’. Emphasize analysis rather than description. In other words, in addition to briefly describing what is in the ad, analyze how and why things are significant.
Begin the process with your observations and from those develop specific, arguments and substantial conclusions. Spend very little space describing the ads. Please include originals or photocopies of any print ads you write about or provide links to television ads. If you encounter a problem with access or references, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Make claims as to the significance of the ads and the strategies they employ. You must go well beyond such observational and obvious statements as “sex sells,” “it is eye-catching,” “it grabs your attention” or “it is designed to sell product x” (in fact, avoid such simplistic, observational and clichéd phrases at all costs). If an ad breaks with convention or uses a particular strategy to stand out in the cluttered landscape of advertising, your task is not to simply identify such strategies but rather, like all the authors we have read, to make arguments about the significance of its particular strategies.
Use the methods and ideas from the course readings and lectures. Use only those methods and ideas that are relevant to the ads you will analyze.

How is authenticity used in advertising?
What forms does authenticity take?
How is it coded: what social, photographic, televisual codes are used?
How does an ad or ads differentiate "authentic" products from mass production?
How is the production process represented?
How does artisanal or craft values operate in the promotion of mass produced goods?
How does authenticity reinforce the ideology of consumer culture?

General Requirements:
1. Some ground rules when writing on advertising:
When analyzing advertising do not use the words “reality” or “real.” Realism is okay.
Never write about the effects of advertising on its viewers or audience; remember this is about social communication, not individual psychology.
This may be about social communication, but avoid that vague word “society.” Be specific about what social structures and what social institutions are relevant to your analysis: patriarchy, traditional cultures, the advertising industry, advertisers, etc. Don’t say: “society limits roles for women.” Do say, “these advertisements represent women in traditional, patriarchal roles as wife and homemaker.” Don’t say: “Society encourages us all to be consumers.” Do say: “Advertising addresses us as consumers, rarely citizens.
Avoid all metaphors of reflection; use metaphors of representation.

2. Draw upon the ideas and methods of relevant course readings/lectures incorporating them into your own analysis. Your primary research is watching TV/youtube, reading magazines and scouring the internet for relevant advertisements. While outside research is not required, it is encouraged and will enhance your grade. It is appropriate and expected that you borrow ideas so long as you cite your sources. See the MLA Handbook or any other style guide for proper format of references. Underline or italicize
titles of books, advertisements, TV shows, journals or magazines, put individual episodes or article titles in quotation marks. Plagiarism shows a lack of integrity, is dishonest, and is poor scholarship. The minimum penalty for plagiarism is an F on the assignment.
Academic sources can be found on the Internet – start with google scholar. Wikipedia is a great tool and a good starting point but it is not an appropriate source for academic papers. Other kinds of Internet sources should only be used as examples of your arguments; approach them critically. Avoid citing journalistic or personal opinions unless they are evidence of an argument about reception. Advertising trade journals can be a great source can give you insight into strategies, target audiences and how advertisers understand those audiences. But be aware that advertisers will make exaggerated claims about the effectiveness of their campaigns. Advertising trade journals offer insight into how advertisers see and understand their audiences, they tell us nothing about the actual audience. Treat this information as you do the ads themselves, with a critical attitude – just like Marchand does.

3. Be sure your introduction clearly sets out your thesis or main argument. Make sure your introduction contains a precise, concise thesis statement. Be sure to signal to the reader exactly what you propose to argue in the main body of your paper.
In the introduction you should use only two or three sentences to describe the set of ads you are working with. Here an example of a brief description of a set of ads:

This paper will study seven advertisements taken from 3 mainstream woman’s magazines: Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and Elle. These ads are for a wide range of products that pertain to body care: fashion, fitness, make-up, health spas, food, hair, skin care and diet services. Despite their obvious differences in the products advertised, they all employ a similar strategy. They all represent women's empowerment at the workplace or within male/female relationships and suggest that the purchase of their products can serve as a catalyst for that empowerment. [Notice how this moves from description directly into an argument.]

Your thesis should be an argument, not an observation:

To signify feminism, these ads all assemble signs that connote sexual independence, participation in the work force, individual freedom and self-control. All these ads offer the means by which women, through the selection and purchase of appropriate goods, can negotiate the difficult contradiction between validation through will-power and self-discipline and the achievement of individual freedom and social equality. These ads are part of a consistently contradictory message in advertising aimed at modern women: that self-discipline equals freedom and that self-denial equals equality. This contradiction has its basis in a reframing of feminism as individuated self-empowerment so that the political logic of feminism can be reworked to fit in with the individualized logic of commodity relations.

[A thesis should establish important arguments and make claims as to the significance of your findings. Notice how an observation quickly moves to analysis and then to substantial argument.]

Following paragraphs should offer fully developed arguments that support your main thesis. Most paragraphs should be at least 4 or 5 sentences long or about half a page. Conclude with a summary of your arguments and a restatement, in different words, of your thesis. I hate writing conclusions too but it must be done. Rewrite your introduction after you finish the paper.

4. You will not be judged on your opinions, but on your arguments. Begin with insights and arguments and support those with observations and conclusions. Take a stand; challenge yourself and your readers toward new insights and ideas. A string of observations does not constitute an academic paper. Description should always be in the service of analysis. Only describe elements, images, layout, narrative structure, etc. when you need to support an argument. In order of importance: 1) arguments, 2) analysis, 3) observation.

5. Avoid informal language: “basically,” “I mean,” and vague terms: “society,” “the media,” “the viewers,” etc.

6. Be careful with first person pronouns; focus attention on your arguments about advertising or issue in question, not on yourself or your process of writing this assignment. As long as you don't write about yourself or the process of writing, 1st person is okay. To say "I will argue that..." is to call attention to your argument, rather than yourself. To say "I watched six ads and I noticed how products were always shown..." draws attention to you, not the ads or their structure and strategies.

7. Demonstrate all the effort, thought and care that went into writing your paper with a good looking presentation. Double space with a 10 or 12 point serif font like Palatino or Times, use one inch margins on all sides, number your pages and staple your paper. Embedded images are cool, plastic covers are not. No folders or paper clips -- just a simple staple. If you don’t know how to create a footnote or put automatic page numbers in the margins, learn it now! Don’t you dare graduate without good word processing skills – you’ll be a very unhappy worker on your first day on the job.

8. Most important: take pride in your ideas and express them in the clearest, most convincing way you can.

*****Make sure you do not talk about the effect on the consumers and how does advertisement manipulate consumers. However that was the main point for my essay so you will have to delete everything that has mentioned about manipulation. Make sure you also don't mention the psychologic of why consumer purchase. So basically you need to answer the question above of how authenticity applied into advertisement base on that four ads*****

Also make sure you talk about the signifier and signified in the ad (check the reading semiotics)

Writing Five: Persuasive Message
Course Objectives: mastering this assignment allows you to practice and improve in
these areas of the course objectives:
· Apply principles of business writing
· Understand the writing process
· Demonstrate skills in writing effective business messages
· Demonstrate an understanding of the use of technology for writing and
responding to complaints
· Apply principles of format and document design
· Show ability to think critically, creatively and independently
Background: You are an inventor of a new medical device and you have finalized the
legal protections for it (i.e. patented, trademarked, etc.) The only thing that remains is to
secure the necessary funds to complete production, marketing, distribution and sales to
the public and the medical community. During your reading of an industry journal, you
discover there is a contest to do just that. The investment group has announced a
funding contest for a new medical device, exactly what you have, and they are asking
for proposals to fund just the part of the process you have remaining. Interest is high,
and you are sure you can compete with the best of any other proposals from inventors.
You decide to enter the contest. The first step is to write a letter introducing your
company, your device, and what it will do. This letter will be a cover to the application,
and is meant to persuade the reader (the investment group) to seriously review the
application and peak their interest.
This letter will first reference the contest, how you discovered it, and establish your
interest in being considered. It is called a persuasive letter, but it is also like a sales
letter, or even a cover letter which is attached to a resume.
The goal is to create an interest which will, hopefully, lead the recipient (the investment
group) to review your application, seriously considering your product, seeing both the
usefulness of it from a medical perspective, and its potential to make a profit. You have
one page to sell your company and the medical device, so use all the space you have to
describe what you make and how it will help. Do not leave blank space on the page
which could be better used to sell your company, and win the contest. However, the
letter should not be longer than one page. The point is to be succinct, positive, and
persuasive without going over the top into the unbelievable range. Logic and reason
should be paramount.
Assignment: Draft a letter to the investment group introducing your application to the
contest, describing your company, your invention, and the usefulness. In addition, you
should also include how you intend to market and distribute it, given their funding.
Use the AIDA approach: attention, interest, desire and action. It should be one page in
length. Be sure to include an “invitation” to take the “action” by moving you forward in
the competition, and ultimately, a partnership with them when you win the contest. Be
creative, but again, do it in one page.
Use the letterhead your group drafted for your inventor, and address it to the Investment
Group, using the same address from the Letterhead sample on Moodle, or if your group
designed a letterhead for the investment group for the last two letters, use it. Sign the
letter with your name, as “Owner” for the company (whatever you named the

Media Freedom is under threat

this essay requires a high standard of thought, argument, and precision.
Please note that this assignment is calling for an Analytical Essay and not an Argumentative Essay.

The key difference between an argumentative and an analytic essay is to do with whether you are trying to be
persuasive (argumentative) or trying to report something in a detailed but straightforward way (analytical).
In this essay

you should seek to explain events, present key facts, and to describe points that other people have raised, and perhaps had differences of opinions about. In the process of doing this, you don’t need to take sides. Provide evidence where you can and outline the relevance of the issue to contemporary media practice. Your thesis statement should raise a how or why question, derived from the essay topic. A strong thesis statement poses a specific question that you can set about answering (providing you with a nice punchy conclusion), a weak thesis statement sets up a vague question that can’t be definitively answered, leading you to an inconclusive conclusion.

Marks will be allocated for:
- Essay structure (following conventions)
- Logic, fairness and narrative structure
- Sources and application of research
- In-text and end text citation in APA7
- Grammar, word use, and sentence structure

Paper Instructions:

The activities below are designed to help you build up to this module's assessment, the Rhetorical Analysis Essay.  The general requirements are outlined here, but reading the textbook and completing the activities will deepen your understanding of these directions.

Goal:  To utilize the critical reading and essay writing skills learned to better understand and evaluate a writer’s argument

Description: You’re going to write a four-page essay analyzing another essay (and just one!) for its purpose, how the writer has communicated that purpose, and your view of how effective that communication has been.  The last part of that sentence will guide your thesis. Remember, every type of essay should just be answering a good question, and in this case, it’s “has the writer successfully argued his/her point?” This assignment is designed to see how much you understand an argument aimed at you, and your ability to respond.

Topic: Your ability to write a strong essay is greatly increased by your own interest in the subject matter.  If you don’t find the topic compelling, you’re unlikely to think deeply about the topic and will then struggle for things to write about.  So I want you to write about something you find interesting.  Therefore, I’m open to proposals.  I’ll offer some suggestions, but if you’d like to select an essay not on this list, please show me what you’re thinking ASAP.  I reserve the right of refusal, but will be flexible.

Essays:  The most obvious choice can be from the many examples in the book, especially the “casebooks” in the back. Some of these are short, and while that might seem great, keep in mind that’s less to respond to.

You can select from many famous essays in the back of our book, which would allow you to more closely follow the model in Chapter 4.  For example, “Obligation to Endure” changed the way people thought about the environment; “Politics and the English Language” is famous for arguing for the importance of words, and how polite euphemisms (or some might say, politically correct language) takes the edge off important problems, and therefore numbs people’s reactions; James Baldwin’s “If Black English Isn’t a Language, Then Tell Me, What is?” also explores how language shapes who we are.

For a few out-of-the-book options, David Foster Wallace writes about what a 5-star cruise says about “modern upscale Americans” in “A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again.”  Ta-Nehisi Coates expertly weaves logos, pathos, and ethos in his essay on how housing regulations have been used to create ghettos and suburban sprawl in “The Case for Reparations.”

Additional sources: This essay is primarily about understanding how to write an analytical essay, so it’s up to you if you want to produce your own insights or try to research some ideas. I would generally prefer you just use your own brain and a lot of deep thinking to analyze the essay you choose, but if you want to start Googling or even going through our library’s search engines, you’re obligating yourself to all of the in-text and Works Cited rules that apply when you do research.

Audience:  You’re writing for a college audience, and remember, you want the essay to describe the work as it goes, so that anyone could pick your essay up and, even without having read the article you're discussing, understand your essay.

Introduction to Visual Media

Visual media is defined as a platform in which ideas and information are conveyed by the use of visual elements which involve but are not limited to drawing, illustration, graphic design, animation, signs, electronic resources, advertising, industrial design, and typography. Before going deeper into visual media, we have to look at visual communication and understand what it entails. Visual communication can therefore be defined as the process by which information is conveyed by the use of graphics to come up with effective meaning. Visual communication can be used in trade shows, conferences, social media posts, office presentations and meetings, and in other situations. That is why, for content marketing to be successful in the recent era, it has to include visual communication. Hence, visual media can therefore be observed on smartphones, billboards, screen projectors, newspapers, computers, televisions, and various other devices and mediums. The main advantage of visual media is that it helps readers to clarify and understand information by having the ability to create their perception about the content and hence limit misinterpretation.

How Has Visual Media Come into Play?

In recent, visual media tends to play a great role in our daily lives in such a way we can't operate without it and more so to adolescents. Visual media has affected my life positively and negatively at the same time. On the positive side, it has helped me to improve my social interaction behaviors and decrease the negative behaviors through gaining social skills while interacting with them. It has also helped me to develop positive friendship character traits and qualities, and important companionship by using it with friends (Marengo, Longobardi, Fabris & Settanni, 2018). Last but not least, visual media has also helped me to develop spatial skills, boost my communication skills, promote self-esteem and self-confidence. Although visual media has helped me much, it has also affected my life negatively at some point. The exposure to violent visual media has increased my aggressiveness, attention problems, externalizing trait and has also decreased my prosocial behavior in which I have that desire to benefit individuals rather than doing actions that benefit others and have that sense of personal responsibility.

Does Visual Media Encourage the Idea of Transforming the Behavior of Its Users?

Yes. I agree that visual media encourages the idea of changing the behavior of its users since the world we see on this platform is not a true and real world. The main concern here is that we try to sink deep into the virtual world losing the sense of who we are, the real world, and real priorities. This affects people so much as it distracts them from their real lives making them forget who they are and at times, making them not work on their issues due to that involvement in the reality they have created for themselves (Weinstein, 2018). Therefore, let us look at it in detail basing our argument on sexuality, age, gender, race, power, ethnicity, and disability.

  • Sexuality-Television has emerged as the leading sex educator in the world today. Adult sexual behaviors are being exposed to children by television in ways that try to show these actions are quite normal and risk-free thus passing information that, since these behaviors are frequent, everybody does it (Waldron, 2016). Hence, we get that teenagers rank media as the leading sex educator. Therefore, sensitive study documents in the media, influence their sexual attitudes, beliefs, and values.
  • Age-Visual media has been found widely and possibly harmful in affecting health-related behaviors of teenagers and children, most of whom are not mature enough to differentiate fantasy from reality especially where it is revealed as 'real life. Therefore, children who carefully observe others exhibiting certain aggressive behavior, are more likely to carry out the same aggressive behavior immediately.
  • Gender- In recent, we will agree together that the number of women in the visual media has been increasing globally, although top positions remain dominated by males. This disparity is very evident in Africa, whereby cultural obstructions to women remain. Therefore, the presence of women in the visual media is more likely to create positive implications for women and girls thus, developing confidence in women as interviewees and sources, and attracting a female audience.
  • Race and ethnicity- In most cases, we expect crime reporting to be ethnically neutral in terms of content but in the visual media, there remains content that is salient to the address of racial issues, either voluntarily or not, and either in an encouraging or derogatory manner. This situation can be termed as ethnic emphasis which in return affects the method in which visual media influences the perceptions of social issues of its audience.

Bottom line

In general, the introduction of visual media has positive and negative impacts on the issues of sexuality, gender, age, race, ethnicity, power, class, and disability. The social build-up of disability is identified as an obstruction to social inclusion hence the theory of social build-up or construction tries to come up with an explanation to explain the process through which knowledge is developed and assumed as reality. Therefore, I can advocate for teenagers to use visual media to build themselves rather than destroy themselves. Also, I can advise parents to be keen on how their children interact with visual media.

VOIP Telephones in radio stations

British broadcasting corporation (BBC) was struggling with less effective telephone equipment which was unreliable, expensive and static communication platforms. The manager raised the issue and formed a committee to investigate and come up with better and quality communication strategies. I was fortunate to be part of the committee. We settled on Voice over internet protocol as the solution to the problem. A VoIP telephone system improves the audio quality, lowers operating costs and increases call-management flexibility. British broadcasting corporation switched to one of the major provider of VoIP technology known as broadcast bionics PhoneBox VoIP product (Chakraborty et al.2019).

Voice over internet protocol works by encoding voice audio into digital packets which are then transmitted across an IP network like any form of data unlike the previous switched telephone lines. VoIP therefore replaces the PSTN/POTS network that has been used in radio for more than 100 years. The difference between the VoIP telephone appliances and the conventional telephone lines is that VoIP plugs into the internet service provider. Currently the VoIP lines have been integrated into the in-house PBX phone systems. It is no longer possible to find new analog POTS based PBX because we have converted to VoIP from voice networks. Voice over internet protocol permits the users to utilize the benefits of IP transmission by converting voice into data. It includes a global reach at a reduced carriage rates when compared to long distance telephony. It can even be free when using public internet. Audio frequencies are not compressed massively over VoIP because they have conventional switched networks which bring about a good audio quality. VoIP systems are easier to integrate and upgrade with the internal LAN of the radio station because they are software driven. They do not use mechanical hardware systems associated with telephone switched circuits (Chakraborty et al.2019).

.

Telephones are basic requirements for radio broadcasters from following advertisement sales, picking calls from listeners and communicating with grassroots reporters and talent in the field. Voice over internet protocols that are radio-oriented are designed to perform all functions like the former switched-circuit system that had a conventional private branch. However the advantage with VoIP is that they are relatively cheaper than the traditional switched-circuit phone lines. For instance a telephone line goes for 30 to 70 United States dollars per month whereas a VoIP line costs 10 United States dollars only and the provider connects to the main phone network. Most VoIP lines are linked with long distance because it does not charge the provider anything to connect data calls over long distances (Haindl et al.2009)

VoIP system has become the de-facto standard for other links made by British broadcasting corporation because of its high tech. It is projected that soon VoIP will be the only system to access telephone service because the world is embracing IP related communications. For example in Europe the switched system lines are scarce implying that carriers are determined to get rid-off ISDN and POTS  and embrace VoIP. It is important to note that Voice over internet protocol capacity is not determined by the physical phone lines. BBC has been able to improve the audio quality and avoid the scratchiness as well as other audio problems characterized by POTS audio. Therefore voice over internet protocol telephone systems which are radio-oriented guarantees the BBC management quality and affordable communication service (Haindl et al.2009)

Analysis

Telephone calls plays an integral role in radio lineup. They give the channel proximity and build up audiences’ anticipation. VOIP enables telephone calls have revolutionized radio stations due to the ease with which they can be stored and accessed.  For instance, airing live mobile calls, or otherwise  recording and playing calls at a later time makes radio stations instrumental and reliable. Other rival platforms such as streaming sites and social media platforms lack the capacity to perform this VOIP feature. VOIP is normally used to respond to telephone conversations together with web browser controlled from a PC. Additionally, VOIP generate a customizable interface for internet-enabled devices.  Numerous controlled locations are designed to permit accessibility to the system’s tasks. VOIP can also be designed to allow trunks on certain output. Caller audio stages can be arranged to fit user-interface and consoles from other sources (Velianitis et al., 2018). VOIP frameworks gain entry to PSTN lines through the FXO entryways. More so, VOIP setup enable the conversion of SIP trunks for usage. Normally, FXO gateways depend on the type of VOIP system. VOIP services are categorized into phone and computer reliant systems. These services facilitates telephone calls made via mobile phones, android applications or other common systems used in the current society. Unlike conventional telecommunication systems where the user only relied on analogue means to make a phone call, the VOIP is made over the internet. The calls are changed into data pockets and transmitted through internet enabled devices and copper wire systems which make the PSTN systems. Most of the VOIP service providers permit international calls made to any location radio stations can communicate with people in different parts of the world whenever one has to put up with more than one location, the VOIP systems can join the location as one and transmit the waves thus enabling communication from one place to another with ease.

Over time, the function of VOIP changed due to the emergence of the internet and numerous ways of communicating with the people. Some VOIP can only allow one to make a call to another person only when both have the same service but others can allow people to make call regardless of the service being offered. Therefore, VOIP can be used from any location. There are three connections that can be generated from VOIP systems- a unicast, multiple-cast and conference. One on one communication can be attained through the unicast VOIP. At the same time the multiple-cast can be used to move data to a single IP location. Thus, the three connection option enable radio stations to cover a vast area from one vocal point. All the connection option are viable and reliable or radio programming and shows. In the meantime people have to be keen and develop the means through which they can use the three to keep up with their favorite radio show (Velianitis et al., 2018). One of the advantages that comes with VOIP is that they can be dispatched from any location. The interconnectivity has led to listening to more than one way of recovering from the monotonous radio which did not offer its audience a live experience. Nevertheless, it is ideal for numerous installation to be kept in place and then enabled whenever on makes a call or needs a new installation to be aligned with the radio coverage. Hence over the years, radio stations have found it easy to run their stations with few expenses due to the ease VOIP systems has generated over the years. Some of the common steps that have been used by operators to actualize VOIP systems in radio stations are- the replacement of UHF linkages in-between repeaters, substituting a leased line with a repeater. Lastly, connecting people to radio signal mostly rely on internet framework than traditional radio wave which could also be used for communication. In the meantime people have to be able to call, connection from social media platforms and keep the conversation going through radio stations and other meaningful ways.

Recommended Solutions and Implementation

The functions of VOIP telephones within radio stations ranges advanced call management to VOIP caller identification. Advancement call management should be always prioritized due the number of audience calling in to ask questions and contribute to the radio discussions (Beritelli et al., 2013). It is advisable for radio stations to have numerous VOIP telephone features so that most of the work is easily coordinated and done by the VOIP telephone’s inbuilt system which in the long prevents clogging and delay within the system. If the voice quality is not good enough, other edition tools can be added to the system to cater to target audience. Radio stations have to use VOIP telephones in line with their own workload and expectations. The most common types of VOIP telephones have to communication capabilities and they deliver quality audio. Quality audio is mandatory for the placement of orders and even sending messages to a larger audience via the VOIP telephone.

VOIP telephones improves connectivity. A key factor in the selecting VOIP telephones is to workplaces purposes. Telephones which have wireless internet come in handy when one wants to communicate with one or two people at the same time as they do not lose the connectivity as one communicates with another. These telephones do not require a router for them to have a strong connection (Xiao & Liu, 2014). Additionally, VOIP with inbuilt Bluetooth are valuable due to the ease with which it connects to other devices and issues out the necessary tools needed to perfect the communication with more than one person. Also, the compatibility of the telephone has to be considered before purchasing the item. The voice compatibility has to be aligned with the rest of the radio system and other machinery that might be used to record the audio.

While implementing most elements of VOIP telephone components are to be matched with the needs of the radio station. Some radio stations need VOIP telephone only for calling purposes while others need them for locating caller identification for the purposes of keeping records and ensuring that most of the services offered are streamlined according to the objectives of the radio stations. Before the implementation, the network bandwidth has to be of high-speed and the low latency is key in the implementation of VOIP frameworks which in the long run assist in administrative work (Xiao & Liu, 2014). Low latency enables information to safely reach other internet enabled places with ease. Therefore low latency is centered on quality and heavily relies on a steady connection. Additionally, data prioritization is assessing the network condition and improving systems that might be weak in the system. Before setting up a VOIP, one has to reach out to the communication expenses used to keep the VOIP operational.
